My stay at Riu Playacar had its highlights and drawbacks. The friendly staff and beautiful beach were definite pluses, though the room amenities left something to be desired. Dining options varied in quality, and while I enjoyed the buffet, I had a less-than-stellar meal at the steakhouse. Overall, it was a nice place to relax, but some improvements could be made.
